“Is it just me or is this cave a little too decorated for Christmas” I said.

“Nope, I agree with you” André replied.

“Those are cute reindeer!” Niki said. Just then a Green Flying Horse came out of the cave. Seeing them there the Horse looked surprised… and a little scared.

“I’d get out of here if I was you! He’ll find you and he’ll….” She trailed off as a loud noise came from the back of the cave. A loud singing (if you could call it that) noise was getting closer and closer.

“Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells”

“Oh no” The horse groaned. Then another (older) Green Flying Horse came out of the cave.

“Why hello there, don’t you like my Christmas decorations. Christmas is my FAVOURITE time of year.” Then seeing the other horse cringing he said to her “Come on, get in the Christmas spirit. Grab a garland wear a Santa Hat HOHOHO”

“This guy is really freaking my out” André whispered to me.

 “Yeah, let’s get out of here” I replied back to him. Luckily we were spared the embarrassment of trying to run out on our guest because we hear a buzzing noise and he ran off yelling something about his cookies and how they were going to burn if he didn’t get them out.

“Sorry about that” the girl said to us. “My dad just really loves Christmas. He used to hate it too, ironic isn’t it. His nickname was even “the Grinch”. Anyways my names Griselda, what’s yours?” She gestured to the whole gang (even Niki who was still fascinated with the reindeer).

“I’m André, this is Lisa and Niki” he pointed to us when he said our name.

“What are you doing all the way over here anyways? We don’t get many visitors up here.” Griselda asked us.

“We’re traveling down to the South Pole.” I told her.

“To see Santa” Niki added, finally done looking at the reindeer.

“Wish I could send my dad down to the South Pole” Griselda muttered to herself.

“You can come with us if you want” André offered.

“Really, you would take me?” She asked excitedly.

“Yeah, just pack your bag we can wait” I said. She ran back into the cave and we could hear her excitedly running around.

“What are you doing? We can’t take her as well! Niki was one thing but Griselda? We’re in war against the Green Flying Horses!”

“Technically we surrendered” he reminded me.

“We are planning a surprise attack against them” when I saw his surprised face I quickly added “Don’t ask me how I know.” A few minutes later she came out of the cave and we left.
