“Is that… is that?...”
Niki trailed off.
“IT’S THE SOUTH POLE! IT’S SANTAS WORKSHOP!”
Griselda shouted.
“We made it...” I said softly astonished.
“How do we get in?” Griselda asked.
“We could knock at that door” André suggested.
“Good idea” Niki said back. We walked up to the door
tentatively and as I put up my hoof to knock the door opened.
“Freaky…” Niki whispered. We moved forward into
the building together.
“HOHOHO MERRY MAS!”
“This Santa isn’t working”
“We need
more tools in Workshop 4”
“Where is the oil? If Santa’s sleigh doesn’t
have any more oil….” You could tell the penguins were really busy with Christmas coming up… they hadn’t
even noticed us yet.
“What do we do now?” I asked
“Well you were the one that wanted to come here in the first
place, get you’re proof and then we can start the long hike home.”
“I’m going to go check out those penguins over there…”
Niki told us then walked away.
“I’d better keep an eye on her” Griselda said
following Niki. So it was just me and André.
“I think I smell something baking” Andre said walking
off in a different direction. So it was just me to go and try to find Santa for proof he really lived in the South Pole.
I started trotting
along trying to find Santa Claus after a while I gave up and joined André in a little snack.
“I can’t find him” I told him. “Have you
seen him?”
“I saw his wife” he told me. “But other than
that no”
“Hm…. I’ll go look for him again” I grabbed
a hoofful of cookies and then started to walk around again.
